Jacob Gosselin and Martha Chauval

Jacob Gosselin marries Martha Chauval
Probably in Amsterdam, Holland, in 1623

Both Jacob and Martha's date of birth is conjectured to be about 1600. The Gorsline Family Chart indicates that Jacob fled France, presumably as a child with his family, in 1609, although Reaman suggests it was 1620 (Trail of the Huguenots, p. 224).

Reaman mentions that Jacob and Martha had four children, although the Gorsline Family Chart lists only the baptism dates for Jan, Jacob, and Ettienne. Another researcher (whose source is unknown to me) lists the birth and death information of a first child, name unknown.
